Warm Weather Shipping: Free Ground Shipping On Orders Over $65 (In The Lower 48). Could Be UPSP, FedEx Ground Or 2nd Day Depending On The Transit Time.

We ship Monday-Wednesday during warm weather shipping months. Currently, we are classifying these months as May-September.

All orders are shipped with polar packs to protect the chocolate; this means all orders must arrive in 48 hours or less.

Ground shipping is not an option for orders shipping anywhere beyond a 2 day transit from our factory (see chart below).

Orders of $65 or more will receive FREE SHIPPING (Ground or 2nd Day depending on transit time).

Customers spending less than $65 will be responsible for any necessary expediting costs.

Overnight shipping costs are not free or discounted.

Cool Weather Shipping: Free Ground Shipping On Orders Over $50 (In The Lower 48). Could be UPSP or FedEx depending on transit time.

Depending on the weather, we ship Monday through Thursday during Cool Weather Shipping months. We are located in the Pacific Northwest—Bellingham, Washington. It can take anywhere from 1–4 days to ship around the U.S. For some of you, FedEx Ground takes 3–4 days to ship chocolate from our factory to your doorstep. If you order $50 or more, we will ship your chocolate for FREE via FedEx Ground (if it if ships safely without melting).

Important Notes on Shipping

We do our best to ship orders the same day if received by 8:00 AM Pacific Time (unless transit time overlaps a weekend or holiday * —see asterisk below). Otherwise, we ship the following business day. We sometimes ship orders if received later the same day, but it is not guaranteed.

2nd Day Shipping does not mean you will receive your shipment two days after placing your order. The day after a package leaves the factory is counted as the first day. This is the same with Ground shipping. (For example: If you place your order at 1:00 P.M. on Monday and select FedEx 2nd Day as your shipping option, it will leave the factory on Tuesday, and arrive on Thursday.) Overnight shipping arrives the day after it leaves the factory.

We reserve the right to hold an order if we think it is too hot (this usually means over 100 degrees Fahrenheit). We also reserve the right to call you and ask if you want to upgrade your shipping if we believe that the warm weather will prevent your chocolate from arriving safely. This might mean that you would not be able to receive the shipping special if it is just too hot.

Delivery Days

FedEx Overnight and 2-Day
Overnight and 2-Day shipments will be sent out the same shipping day if the order is placed by 8 am. Otherwise, all other shipments will be sent out the following shipping day. Packages are normally delivered Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Delivery on Saturday is available only to selected locations (contact FedEx at 800-Go-FedEx for details) and requires selection of the “Saturday Delivery” option at an extra charge.

FedEx Ground to Business Addresses
Packages are normally delivered Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

FedEx Ground to Residential Addresses
Packages are normally delivered Tuesday through Saturday (excluding holidays), and there is no extra charge for Saturday Delivery. FedEx Ground does not deliver to residential addresses on Monday.

International Orders

At this time, we do not currently ship Internationally. You still might be able to find our chocolate in your area, though. Please contact us with questions about where to find our chocolate outside the US at or at 877-342-2452.

* During summer months, we generally avoid allowing your chocolate to sit in transit over weekends and holidays. Therefore, if the shipping option overlaps a weekend or holiday, your order may ship the following week.
